Earliest Recipe for Dr Pepper Found?
Saturday, May 2nd, 2009I admit it: I love Dr Pepper. I even have a pair of glass bricks from the old Dallas plant on a shelf in my kitchen.
Now, what appears to be the earliest recipe for the concoction has been found in an antique ledger book. One of the ingredients: Mandrake root. No prune juice, though.
