The Edge of the Hurricane

LWIFT Central is located in the DFW area. We’re not taking the pounding that they are down at the Gulf Coast, but the first bands have moved in here. President Bush has just included our area in the revised emergency declaration.
What I’d like to know is this: Does this make my desk an official disaster area, and will I be eligible for government assistance to get it organized?
I have something to post later today, but first I have to go move my container garden inside. You know it’s a disaster when the winds knock down the hot pepper plants!
