We’re back from haitus with a double helping of wrong:

In the foreground we have something the cat left on the carpet. Bringing up the rear are the ever-popular bacon-tomato bridges spanning individual servings of molten lava. Toss a dead tree on top for garnish, and you’ve got a meal sure to stop conversation … because everyone will be clamoring for the exit!
So what do you think this is? Leave a comment below.

This may be what the old chain smoker down the street coughed up on his deathbed – complete with bits of lung.
Last week’s creature feature?

Yes, Crevette, it was a pear. The caption said it was a “stuffed fresh pear,” but it could have been fress ass for all I know.

The food item this week has no mouth. And it needs to scream:

What do YOU think it is? Let us know in the comments.
Last week we presented this abomination:

It was a loaf of bread.

If it’s Wednesday, it must be time to subject our readers (all three of you) to a photograph purported to be food:

I’m not entirely certain, but I think I may have seen this in Dune.
What do you think it is? Let us know in the comments.

The caption below this picture calls the food “special.” I don’t know about you, but my definition of “special” doesn’t include what appears to be flattened gagh. I suppose “best eaten while living” is what makes it “special.”

Welcome to another edition of What Is It? Wednesday, in which we present something you don’t want to see on your plate.

You know there must be fine gourmet birds involved when the photo includes those little chef hats. But what sort of fine gourmet birds? The sort they serve on a planet Captain Kirk might visit?
What do you think this is?

Of course, it’s Wednesday, so it’s time for another picture of food you wouldn’t want to eat:

Here we have Chernobyl cake to go with your possibly radioactive punch.
Think of this as help for your diet. You wouldn’t want to eat after looking at this stuff, would you?

Just because it’s New Year’s Eve, don’t think you’re not getting by without a horrid food item.
And can you think of a better way to celebrate the festive date than by showing a party spread? I couldn’t, which shows you how much eggnog I’ve had. The answer, actually, is “none,” because dang it, I’m lactose intolerant. But that doesn’t stop me from showing you a bucket of something the cat coughed up!

And let’s not forget bugs on sticks. Yummy!
So, what do you think this looks like?

For our next-to-last What Is It? Wednesday of the year, we present Devil’s Tower!

Don’t forget the sputum sauce!
Hope you have much more appetizing food planned for the holidays.

If it’s Wednesday, it must be time to look at something appallingly unappetizing.
For some reason this reminds me to make sure I’m up-to-date on my pneumonia shot.
